Properties

CacheDuration

How long attributes and directory listings are reused before the server is asked again (default 5 seconds); zero turns caching off. Changes on the server show after at most this long.

MaxCacheEntries

How many paths the attribute cache, and separately the listing cache, may hold (default 10,000). Paths that do not exist are cached too, so this bounds the memory requests for random paths can take; when a cache is full, expired entries are dropped, and if that is not enough it starts over.

OperationTimeout

How long one SFTP request may take before the lookup or read fails with an SshException (Timeout; default 30 seconds, InfiniteTimeSpan for no limit). Each waiting synchronous lookup holds a thread-pool thread for up to this long, so keep it short.
